These hand carved gourds are made from the fruit of the Strychnos Spinosa Tree. These fruits make popular meals among monkeys so are commonly known as green monkey oranges or spiny monkey oranges.
They are picked, dried and then carved or painted by hand to make these beautiful decorative balls.
Cluster a few in a bowl or simply balance one amongst other objects on your shelves, however be careful as due to their delicate nature they can break easily.
